SLEEP DEPRIVATION

Poor sleep quantity and quality can lead to weight gain, obesity, poor function and performance, loss of concentration, poor brain function, brain fog, raises the risk of dementia, lethargy, tiredness, fatigue, mood changes, irritability, hormonal imbalances, lowers libido, increases stress, anxiety and depression, weakens the immune system, increase risk of chronic illness eg. insulin resistance, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and inflammation.

Here are a few yoga poses to practice at bedtime to improve your sleep. We need to be aiming for 7-9 hours sleep every night!
