With the hot summer we are experiencing here in the Azores, this is something we have been enjoying more and more! Tonight’s full, super-moon, with anticipated clear skies, is a perfect time to give it a try..



So what is Moon Bathing?


As you might guess, moon bathing is like sun bathing, only enjoyed under the night sky when the moon rises. You can do this with your clothes on or off, though it is more powerful when naked!! You can practice this, sitting or laying down, in a private, quiet spot while you look to the moon and stars above. The moon has a healing, cooling, relaxing and calming effect on the mind and body, helping clear the mind and reduce stress levels. It offers you time to pause, to reflect, to meditate and to soak up the wonderful lunar energy. This in turn can improve sleep.
